Dr Olufemi Olukayode Ogunlowo

Dr Ogunlowo holds a B.SC Civil Engineering (First Class with Honours) degree from the University of Ibadan. He obtained a master's degree with Distinction in Water and Waste Engineering) and a PhD from the School of Civil and Building Engineering, both from Loughborough University, UK. He is the Group Managing Director of SOL Group comprising Strategic Outsourcing Limited, Shepherds Insurance Brokers Limited, and Lekki Serviced Flats. He has business experience spanning 30 years in management consulting, banking, and engineering. As the founding CEO of SOL, he nurtured the company from a conceptual idea in 2006 to become a leading personnel outsourcing firm in Nigeria with the largest network of business offices. Before establishing SOL, Dr Ogunlowo was the Principal Partner of BMC Consultants Limited, a consulting practice he established in 2003.

Dr Ogunlowo started his career as a pupil engineer with Intecon Partnership, a civil engineering design firm and later was the planning engineer of the World Bank assisted Lagos State Water Expansion project. He was a Senior Strategy Consultant in Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), Assistant Vice President and Head of Strategy and Business Development at First City Monument Bank, and at some point, Head retail banking in the same bank.

Dr Ogunlowo is a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultant, Fellow of the Institute of Management Specialists (IMS) the UK, Fellow of the Association of Outsourcing Professionals, a Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management; a licensed HR practitioner; a Certified Management Consultant; Member, Nigeria Institute of Management; and Council Member of Human Capita Providers Association of Nigeria. He has attended training programmes in Strategy School, St. Charles, Chicago, Illinois; School of Management, Cranfield University, UK; and Lagos Business School.

Michael Adekunle Owolabi

Michael is the founder and the Managing Director of the Black Pelican Group comprising IL Bagno that specializes in the sales and distribution of high-end interior finishes, BPL Wellness, the sole distributor for Technogym in 7 African countries, specializing in Wellness products, the Bathrooms Direct that offers quality yet affordable ceramic items for projects, Bagno Technik that provides finest installation solutions with its multinational team of trained engineers and installers, and BPL Logistix with a focus on the logistics of moving goods around the world as well as warehousing services with locations in Lagos and Abuja.

Michael has grown IL Bagno from aspiration in 2004 to become Nigeria's premier destination for the highest quality sanitary ware and other interior solutions. Michael is also the founder and Managing Director of AbigailMichael Ltd, the promoter and developer of the Altona, a masterpiece in Ikoyi.

Michael is a multitalented and multidimensional person with over 28 years of business experience in the public and private sectors. He is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, sometimes an Investment Banker and a Treasurer, a business strategist and interior specialist. Before establishing Il Bagno, Michael had substantial and valuable experience working in an advisory role at both Federal and state governments' budgeting and strategy levels.

Michael has attended several management courses within and outside Nigeria, including Citibank School of Banking, NY, Harvard Business School, Boston, Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) Fontainebleau, France and IMD Lausanne, Switzerland. Michael also founded Detainees Welfare Foundation, a not for profit dedicated to providing awaiting trial detainees with legal assistance.
